Clos Le Lay, Trinity
COMPLETED 2020 // NEW BUILD
Tucked into a quiet hamlet in rural Trinity, Clos Le Lay reshaped two former residential sites into four family homes in a traditional style that settles into the landscape. The aim was to offer comfortable rural living with private gardens, bright rooms, and layouts that give good privacy while opening to views of surrounding fields. Native planting, wildlife corridors, and specialist bird boxes help the development sit lightly in its setting and support local species. Each house has its own character, yet a shared approach to materials, massing, and form links them as a small cluster of rural buildings. The project shows that space-efficient design can remain varied and thoughtful, giving every home its own identity.
